Collaboration and ICT are the stars of the week at #twinmooc

After more than one month working on it, #twinmooc has possibly no secrets for most of the participants. We have been surfing around, doing activities, overcoming challenges and writing dozens of messages in the different social networks. We have also learnt about the key elements of a project, as well as how to make it more social and more digital. Some may have already visited the specific workspace of the eTwinning Platform, either by means of a standard registration or using the ‘practice’ space provided for MOOC participants who don’t meet the requirements for that ‘standard registration’. Now it’s time…

After one week of #twinmooc

When we are about to turn the first week of “Open eTwinning” we would like to share with you a summary of the activities and challenges of this first week. If you have not yet completed all the challenges, or you haven’t even started them, don’t worry; the MOOC will remain open until june 2 and it’s only you who decide the rhythm of your progress. Let’s start revising a few numbers just to have a broad idea of the size of the digital conversation which is taking place within this MOOC. After a week of activity, more than 900 people…

You may click the link to switch the active language. The first edition of the MOOC “Open eTwinning” took place from May 18th to June 29th, with an enrolment of over 1,500 participants. For the first time in a MOOC INTEF, the total number of enrolments from other countries was higher than the number of registrations from Spain. This was actually to be expected since this MOOC was our first-ever conducted in English, particularly aimed at all…

You may click the link to switch the active language. It’s after-dinner time at #twinmmoc. The five-course menu is over and this Wednesday no new dishes will be brought to our buffet table. This does not mean that we have to leave the restaurant at all. For many people, these after-dinner talks are the best part of the meal. So, please, take a cup of coffee (or any other drink to your liking), seat back and…

Unit 3 of #twinmooc is here

Come the third week, almost mid-way in our MOOCadventure, we welcome one of the most exciting phases in Open eTwinning. We now begin the “assessable” phase, during which your project can be enriched with the ideas and points of view of other participants. At the same time, you can contribute to other projects with your own insights. Don’t be shy! The more a project is commented, the more it can grow and the greater the chances of future success. Although dates in a MOOC are just informational (task delivery will remain open until the end of the course), the idea is that…

Week 2. Open Twinmooc reaches Cruise Speed

You may click the link to switch the active language. We start today the second unit of “Open eTwinning” with almost 1,400 users and activity on both the platform and the social networks in an atmosphere of cooperation and positive attitude that we sincerely appreciate. The first week, like every takeoff, involves some stress and an extra effort to get adapted to the environment. Now we’ve reached cruising altitude, it is time to look forward,…
